This gentle giant golden retriever was found and brought to us. A volunteer contacted her niece’s mother in law who works with the Golden Retriever Rescue of North Texas (I know a guy). We want to highlight how these three pups (all girls) arrived before they went home. Alex (not pictured) was approached by someone on Facebook in east Texas who could no longer care for the three little ones. In order to avoid having the pups being put down at the local animal shelter, Alex drove four hours with a friend to rescue them from their owner. Alex researched multiple no-kill options, including keeping the dogs herself, but we were her best option. The pups arrived in poor condition, but three weeks later they were better and all were adopted. Read More
